The Wine

An intense and lively red-purple color leads into aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and warm plums enhanced with black pepper and tobacco notes. This complex wine also features ancillary notes of chocolate, cherry liqueur, and spice. Soft and velvety on the entry, with firm tannins and a lovely, juicy finish.

The Producer

Sebastian Zuccardi is the current steward of this family affair. In 1963 his grandfather, Alberto Zuccardi, planted the first acre of vines in what is now the famed Maipú wine-growing region of Mendoza. Familia Zuccardi has continued growing and developing ever since, and is now positioned as a benchmark for Argentina's winemaking industry.
