The Wine

I describe this as an ideal every-day wine because it is good enough to enjoy on its own and affordable enough to drink every day, even on a budget. Besides, you won't feel guilty mixing it in Mimosas, Negronis or other spritzers. The name is Spanish for "two glasses", implying that's all you need to enjoy the wine (though one presumes both glasses aren't for you - sharing is caring, after all!)

A lot going on here - apples, tropical fruits and floral notes on the nose and stone fruits and melon on the palate. The wine is 100% Chardonnay, the classic Blanc de Blanc.

How do they do it so cheaply?! The wine never sees barrels, which leaves the wine with the clean and crisp profile that Blanc de Blancs are known for. But the winery also ferments in tank instead of in bottle, which lowers the cost tremendously, and allows 2 Copas to put their investments into steps that yield higher quality such as manual harvests and two waves of harvesting to take only the best clusters at the time.

The Winery

Located in the heart of Chile's central valley, running North-South along the Eastern side of the Andes. The climate is relatively cool, with dry summers and mild-ish winters that are ideal for grape-growing.
