Summary

When "Two Buck Chuck" swept the nation, I got tired of hearing "It's just as good as an expensive Napa Cab!" So I created this tasting experience. But the results have been interesting, and very different than I expected! It turns out that newbie wine drinkers tend to prefer less expensive wines, while those who have enjoyed wine for many years? Not so much. Can be done as a blind tasting.

Description

This wine experience allows participants to discover their own preference and price "sweet spot". You pick the varietal and we'll explore 3-4 wines that are good representatives of their price points. Depending on the varietal chosen, price points will range from the following tiers:

$15 - $25

$35 - $45

$50+

Requirements

$90-$120+/attendee* ($1,500 minimum)
Food is optional and a separate expense
Two wine glasses per attendee, one for white, one for red
Live attendees will sample three different California wines over the course of the 60-90 minute event.
Virtual attendees will receive four half-bottles via UPS.

Shipping costs are extra.
Wine selections will be limited by their availability in half-bottles

Invoice payments are acceptable - 50% upon project initiation, 50% prior to start of event.
