The Wine

A wine that tastes like "more please!"

Super gulpable blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon with aormas of peach and citrus with lanolin, honeycomb and a touch of wet stone. A surprisingly substantial wine, it is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, the classic white Bordeaux, where the Semillon ads fruity aromatics and a broader mouthfeel that adds complexity to the more linear Sauvignon Blanc. Made with organic grapes and fermented in stainless steel to assure purest expression of the grape and terroir.

The Winery

Located close to the cooling influence of the Atlantic ocean, the wines from Lagarde grow in limestone soils, two factors that are critical to the success of this cuvee. Add in the winery's commitment to organic farming, and one questions how the wine can sell at these prices.
