Summary

We'll explore what makes a great sparkling wine, tasting four examples from around the world. Attendees will be introduced to some of the more interesting characters that brought this humble beverage to the forefront of luxury experiences.

Description

Sparkling wine is used to launch ships, toast marriages, and shower winning teams in their locker rooms! But its history is far more interesting, and today's challenges are unique. We'll discuss everything from the impact of climate change to whose breast impression was used to make the standard coupe Champagne glass.

Requirements

$100/attendee* ($1,500 minimum)
Food is optional and a separate expense
A single wine glass for each attendee will suffice - either Champagne flutes or small white wine glasses.
Live attendees will sample four sparkling wines over the course of the 60-90 minute event.
Virtual attendees will receive four half-bottles via UPS.

Shipping costs are extra.
Wine selections will be limited by their availability in half-bottles

Invoice payments are acceptable - 50% upon project initiation, 50% prior to start of event.
Optional sabrage (opening the bottle with a saber) demonstration is available for outdoor events only. A small sur-charge may apply.
